Fog Lights

:
Mazda 6 S
Has anyone with a regular 6 put fog lights? I've seen some after market kits that are supposed to clip right in where the factory plastic grill things are in the lower part of the bumper. Just looking for opionions and maybe some pics if any one has some.

Guy at the stealership told me that they didn't make them for my 06s with regular (non-sport) bumper. Funny thing is that I have EVERYTHING, all the wiring, harness, fuses etc installed on my car. I checked "onlinemazdaparts" or whatever but with no pics I don't know what to buy.

After buying the stupid cheap JDM kit from E-bay and getting burned. I decided to create my own Custom kit (all US 06-08's only) with all OEM parts using the prewiring etc. Install only takes 45 minutes and it is all OEM. including the replacement light switch.
If someone sells you a kit with wiring and togle switch it most likely will not work.

Move.Over, thanks for the PM and I may be interested in the near future.

However, I think you are breaking some forums rules by posting a product and a price without proper signage or AMM status. Also you will need your location added to your profile. I did see your eBay link to the "other" site so and with several happy customers your definitely legit.

How much of a difference did the fog lights make? Was it worth it?

It does help in the fog and snow, some people mod it to make them DRL's. Somewhere there is a write-up on how to do this. Since the lenses are glass they can be easily upgraded to HID's that are H11 compatible.
In addition it looks better on the car. The Mazda 6 GT and MS6 both did come with them from the factory. The base, VE and Touring just have the black blanks, but are prewired and even have the relay installed. On the driver side the wiring is actually attached to the black insert. Installation does require the removal of the bumper skin. Since you have the Perfomance White here they are installed on my own Performance White.
