Fog light installation Q's

Hi....I have a 13 Touring that only has the black shrouds/knockouts. I want to install the Hella 90 mm lights and need to know 2 things. First, do you know if there's wiring for fog lights under the bumper or will I need to provide that? Also, can I drill/dremel the holes in the black knock outs or should I order OEM knock outs with holes and clips, etc? Thanks.

You'll definitely need to buy the driver side and passenger side internal plastic brackets MAZDA TK2251684A and TK2251694A that houses the OEM foglights that screw to the bumper but they are inexpensive, they run like $12 each.

Then you'll have to drill a larger hole for each of those brackets to fit the Hella 90mm housings. It was a real pain in the neck to dremel out a larger hole so I got a cheap 90mm diamond ceramic cutter tool to cut a 90mm thru the bracket. After cutting the 90mm hole, I slid the Hellas thru the 90mm cut hole and zip tied them to the OEM brackets then screwed the brackets to the bumper.

Sorry I don't know if the OEM foglight wiring is there or not, mine already came with OEM fogs as part of the tech package. But if there is no wiring it's not hard to install a wire relay harness with a on off switch installed on the dash, also saves money on getting steering wheel foglight stalk which I believe is not cheap

I believe you'll also need to get the outside shroud for a cleaner OEM look with the chrome rings around the foglights.

just a caveat, this mod is in no way plug and play and not for the novice. It will take a lot of patience, it took me forever to get the aiming correct, since there is no way to adjust it in a proper manner, it's just trial and error with the zip ties and trying to aim the light hotspots against a wall at night. Also the cutting of the brackets was very dusty and hard to align.

BUT if you have the patience and fortitude, OH MY the results are amazing:
