FMIC with both inlet and outlet on same side?

saw these on CX racing the other day - has anyone tried them?

...one of these days im going to take my bumper off and draw up a plan for my FMIC, especially since the last company with a kit i liked just went under. till then all i can do is get everyone elses experiences.

Bloody...Blood hound....lol

I have a 06s2000 n MSp, thought I could can manage both

I love the s2000...Even tho the msp will murder the s2k 8500red line is sweet

I at 12psi with the gt28rs Im at least 260 and 280 crank..look at my mod list. :)

youre running 12psi on a disco potato? and youre not forged right? got a deathwish or something?

anyways so youre parting it back out to spend more time on the s2k or what?

Yea pretty much!I know someone who want to buy with my mods...but i pull srt-4 allday I don't want a lil kid who thinks he can drive and kill his self...This thing is scary fast...lol..little quick MSp

i wouldnt sell an unforged MSP running 12psi on a 28RS or youll end up in court. seriously, only a few people run 12 psi on the GT25, doing it on a 28RS is a suicide mission, and when the car blows up, hes going to be banging on your door looking for answers.

but anyways, not interested in the turbolife, sorry...

I think the HiBoost FMIC had both on the same side, but I could be wrong. Look into it I guess.

And 7 psi on the 28RS is also more than plenty to kill our engines.

I'm tuned buddy..7psi low and 12psi high..and pretty much a full bolt on car.(enguard)

Guys this is not a FS thread. If you all do buy his fmic kit that is all fine and dandy but make sure you get proper pictures of the item. If you dont do the sell by the forums rules there is no way we can even assist you in trying to recover your funds if something went wrong.

maybe he has a freak block like rich. i hate to keep threadjacking my own topic but ueat what are you running for AFR's?

and i cant remember if the hiboost had both on the same side, i just remember i really liked their kit and they appear to have folded like a cheap hooker - much like any other company that makes parts for this car. MAM, MM, hiboost... such a long list.

have you looked at the kinetic motorsports kit/ion kit? kinetic still sells them

yeah ive considered it, its a solid all around kit but its expensive. ditto for the corksport. the hi-boost was a little cheaper, it took much less cutting and included a BPV. it was just far and away the best value but now its back to square one.

which is the one that had the on one opening on the top and one on the side?? wasn't that the hi-boost?

frankly im not positive and now that theyre out of business it doesnt matter. im wodering if i can remove my SMIC, change the bracket for the radiator if needed, and run both the hot and cold pipes where the SMIC used to be without doing too much work to the crumple zone on the front of the car. having never done an FMIC or removed my bumper im not too sure what runs near the SMIC (foam/crash bar/etc) but id like to do as little modification to the bumper, crash zone, and sheet metal as possible. i know the hiboost was good with that, but i dont remember how they routed their stuff, or how the endtanks were configured.

I took a bunch of pics when installing my FMIC set-up. Take a look at my posts from then and see if any of the pics will help you. I had the bumper off when I took them. I think I installed it Aug 08 or so, that should help your search.
