FMIC Question

I just ordered the Altered Customs FMIC kit for my 06 MS6.. I am very excited to get it and install it..

Just curious what I should look of for as far as potential problems with the install or problems with the car afterwards.

My engine related mods are:
3" exhaust with high flow cat, resonator, no mufflers
corksport TIP/SRI

Got the 28x8x3.5 intercooler, 2.5" piping

Make sure you test drive it and make sure all your clamps are nice and tight to identify any possible leaks. Some FMIC's cover the radiator which isn't great but I have never read about a problem caused by that on the forums.

Other than that the install should be straightforward.

Thanks a lot.. definitely does have quite a bit of clamps, couplings and bends.. does not seem difficult, but I bet it can get frustrating lining everything up. I'll post some pics and thoughts when I get it and install it.

how do you plan on getting around the windshield washer fluid tank? just curious.

there are 2 junk yards within 30 miles of my town.. probably just see if they have anything.

Yup, stock reservoir is gonzos with that route.
