FMIC core sizes

ive got a 27x6x3.5 fmic core i had planned on using for my old speed6. will this size core transfer over to the speed3 or am i shooting for the moon hoping it will fit? the length may be 26in rather than 27 but i forget and would rather be safe than sorry with an opinion on 27in. thanks

27 inches from inlet to inlet

Do you think that the front grill would be open enough to permit proper airflow over a FMIC? I have been thinking about it and it seems to be a bit restrictive. I would almost wanna take a row or two out of the "smile".

Yea, front plate would have to be moved. As for the grill, might be able to cut out little squares in a sequence to make it look like braces lol
