FMIC and airbox installed at BEGi

My FMIC and cold air box have been installed at BEGi.
All seems to run great with the XEDE.
No dyno numbers or calculation yet, but I will post them as soon as the dyno testing is done

ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Somebody got a new toy(rockon) (rockon) (rockon) (rockon) (rockon)

Maybe show a bigger pic of the front itself?

And where/how did you get the FMIC? Isn't the front too small for it?

If the FMIC does truly replace the TMIC and the dyno shows improved results, I'm investing in that!

That's the TMIC on top. A FMIC would be better because it would have more airflow going in. However, if there is a hood scoop, then the TMIC would work the same as a FMIC.

That's just off the top of my head. Somebody help me out here lol

Im not understanding guys. Don't we already have a vent of some sort where this IC is placed. Or what is that our radiator???

yup, the factory radiator sits behind that front mount intercooler.

So then how would the radiator get air if the IC is in front??? Also what happens to the TMIC?

Just trying to clarify, new to modding my turbo world.

TMIC offers shorter hose distance. The shorter the pipe distance the less air must be pressurised within the hoses when a change in pressure is made, so less lag. Problem with TMIC is less airflow unless you get a hood with scoops or take a pick axe to the stock hood.

Homer: Hey, what are all these holes?

Salesman: These are speed holes. They make the car go faster.

Homer: Oh, yeah. Speed holes!
