flywheel or roll bar?

:

i cant decide which to get...roll bar or flywheel...i do a good amount of autox and also have a momo seat with harness (reasoning behind thinking about roll bar)

let me know what you guys think i should get!

I say flywheel too. But he WTH's up with the post counter. Mine screen has Topher as being the first post, but he's the second.

You'll get more use out of the flywheel. The rollbar is really only good for 1 time

i was thinking this too...but what if i need it for that one time?

i guess our car holds up pretty good in rolls though eh?

hahaha are you planning on rolling your car during an auto x?

ok this might be totaly off but.... once i took my P5 and tided a string between the rear shock towers and jacked the one side in the back up as high as i could and the string never became slack. besideds being there for safty (which is huge on my prioritys) its only going to weigh down your car. so flywheel. its next on my mod list to do.

good test!

i was leaning towards flywheel already (gives me another reason to install my clutch) but i just wanted to make sure i was doing the right thing

Go 7 if performace is the most important. If not do the 9. I have the 9 and love it.

its still a daily driver.... how is it driving around with the 9? do you have to rev higher to get started or what?

Flywheel.

Even though you have a fixed back seat and harness, a rollbar isn't very pratical or safe. You'll have steel right behind your head, and even with BSFI approved padding(not cheap foam) its dangerous to your head w/o a helmet. It also makes your backseat un-safe to use.

cant use the backseat anyways...no seatbelts.

what do you suggest as a flywheel weight?
7, 9, or 16?

f- the flywheel, get a turbo! Then you won't need the flywheel for faster acceleration. I guess that's a little more expensive though.

flywheel heath. i had the fidanza 7lb and it was awesome. good for daily driving. and also revved faster when WOT. not bad dds...try it buddy.

What else is done to the car? What class are you running? While I'm all for safety and such, you probably don't need the rollbar unless you drive like an ass on the street. Oh, and hopefully you aren't using your harness on the street....
