flashing engine light computer says its cause of idleing

I cant believe this but I just bought a mazda 3 2008 57,000 miles from a Toyota dealer in less then 40 days the check engine light is one and flashing to point I had to pull over after it was nicely fixed its on its way to mazda anyone else have a issue like this ...?

Engine light flashing usually means a severe misfire.
