Awesome. Thanks for the tips and I'll see where it takes me in 8 weeks. Speaking of which, I'm hitting up a garage sale on the way home to pick up 110 pound weight set with bar and two dumbbell handles for $20. Cheaper than buying separate dumbbells.

If you are coming back from an injury its best to do reps with lower weights. You need to build up all those stabilizer muscles in your leg and recondition your body to lifting. Going big too soon is what injurs people.

how long have you been lifting?
I have been lifting since high school, but really took the last three years off. I have been lifting on a good program for the last year.

what do you use(supplements)?

1.) Optinum Nutrition 100% Whey
2.) BSN Syntha-6 Whey - THE BEST TASTING STUFF EVER. Its a little $$ but worth it.

3.) Ragnarock -caffiene free pre workout suppliment. Good stuff.

4.) I really cut down on soft drinks and caffeine for my diet. Plus I drink lots of water.

do you concentrate on anything?
I work mostly upper body and lower body is taken care of by jogging/walking/running. I tend to stay away from heavy leg lifting stuff. I tweaked my lower back a long time ago and I never want to repeat that. I do some pretty good ab workouts too :).

I am working on bench pressing 300lbs right now I am at 280lbs single rep.

So far I am touch over 150lbs with about 7% body fat. I cant wait to bench press double my bodyweight.
