Fitment help. From my Evo to a CX-5?

Too many to list

Hey folks. So I have a set of Enkei RPF-1 wheels that used to be on one of my Evos and they have been sitting in my garage for a while now as I no longer have the car. Was just cleaning out the garage today and decided to finally put them up for sale and my father-in-law suggested he take them off my hands instead for his 2016.5 Mazda CX-5. At first I laughed it off arguing that the bolt patterns are probably way different until looking it up on my phone and discovering that they both share a 5x114.3. His wheels are 17s and these are 18s, so not a big difference. But, not sure how the CX-5 would fare with a 9 1/2in wide wheel with a +15 offset. I would gladly give him the wheels but not sure if the fitment will look odd or if there would be any rubbing issues.
Also, the tires on them still have a bit of life left on them but would be changed if needed.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Wheels:
Enkei RPF-1
18x9.5
+15 offset

Tires:
Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 245/40R-18

I mean I have a set of 19x8.5 for my CX-5 and was planning on getting 245/45/19 I hear other ppl with 19s don't rub.

Do you plan on lowering? They will poke but shouldn't have any issues. I had 20x8.5 et 40with 255/55s lowered and was fine

I have 20", 9.25" wide with +36ET, lowered 3.1/4" and it's ok, with a bit of a stretched tire. ET15, will definitely poke out, but maybe it won't be that bad, if he would use mudflaps. Get narrower tires, to have a stretch and that way, they won't look to bad.
I remember, somebody has used even 10" wide wheels, with higher ET though.

If you get the oem mudflaps, they bulge at the rear and go really well with wider wheels.

If it doesn't work, I'll be happy to try them out on my 3000gt ;) I'm running Evo brakes now so it should fit nicely! You don't need that clutter in your life anyway.

Slapped my Enkei RPF-1's in 18x9.5 +45 with 275/35/18 from the RX-8 onto my CX-5 and there is definitely poke. It was even noticeable with the much smaller diameter tires. My stock RX-8's are 18x8 +50 and that sits almost flush on the CX-5. I can imagine hilarious poke with 9.5 +15. Perhaps they'll look decent with added flares and mudflaps.

I'll be happy to try those as well, swing em on by lol

Im betting these bathursts in either 19x9 pr 20x9 et 20ish. Once I get the fender flares and test fit I'll better know which et and size.

I went from Evo to CX-5. Cant comment on fitment, but would love to see pix of the Enkeis on the CX-5 if you do it. I'm still trying to figure out what wheels to get.

There might be an enkie equipped one on the show me your wheel thread; try searching "enk" there.

Not the originals. HID projectors. Though, there position it is not ideal. a bit in and off center.
