Fish-Tail Anyone?

Hey guys I bought a mz3 sedan about three months ago. Since then, i have been noticing that the car likes to loose traction easily under rain, and in dry weather the back side likes to fish tail during a corner when I get off the gas to shift up to 2nd or 3rd (depending on the traffic light). I have a Pro5 and I never had this problem with it

I was wondering if this is a suspension problem in the rear, weight problem, or the stock tires?
Also, have you guys who hace changed the tires or suspension had this problem?

What trim of sedan do you have? The tires could be the problem along with the lack of weight over the rear tires. But honestly it is really hard to fishtail in a FWD vehicle. The most you should see is a ton of understeer due to unsprung weight on stock suspension.

Base model, and I'm almost sure it's lack of weight but also due to a lot of body roll in the rear. trust me, I know it's hard to fishtail in a FWD. This car is fun but the back likes to kick out. it might Just be the weight change when cornering, but I dont know. Not much understeer. I might be used to the stiff suspension from the pro5

Yea, I havent driven a FWD vehicle in almost five years when I got my MS3. And I immediately lowered it and put better tires on. So I never got to feel much understeer. Now with almost all my suspension parts swapped out for aftermarket I feel as comfortable in the turns as if it were a Miata or S2000. Do some testing, throw some tires in your trunk or something and see how it works out. Or get some springs and lower it. The later of the two being optimal of course. Ha. Oh and hows the weather down there in FL. I hear your hitting 40s and 50s.

Well considering that the corksport rear s-bar stiffens the suspension by up to 230%, that might be partly why. so body roll probably has to do a lot. I'll try to put weight in the back. Racingbeat springs with a combination of front tower bar and rear sway bar will probably help out. Rims are getting switched to 18 with some achillies. And the weather is awesome, but driving with these people is a death trap.
