First off hello. Great site. I just found this site while searching for info.
I have a 1986 323 that sitting at my work an hour away with fried front wheel bearings. The only repair manual I could get my hands on wasn't very detailed. I went to the junkyard today and picked up 2 spindle assemblies in hopes of replacing the bearings in them and installing them on my car next weekend. (it's a lot easier this way since it's in the company parking lot).
Problem is I have no ideal how the bearings are supposed to come out. I pulled the seal off and they won't move. They're still spinning inside but I can tell these are bad too. I also need to replace the rotors. This one repair manual says a mazda tool is needed. Advance and Autozone have no clue. I can try a couple garages.
Any advice on this would be apprieciated. I am desperate to get this fixed. I've been driving my Chevy 1500 truck the past few weeks and gas mileage is killing me.
