First Mazda! First post! Question about debadging.

Since it is recessed, what would go in place of the Mazda logo? Maybe a Batman emergency button..(rockon)

To be fair (and not a butt to new members), the actual Mazda logo does have a clip, so it wouldn't be too surprising if the other did as well.

Again, the Skyactive badge does not have clips, just double-sided sticky. I removed mine.

pffffft...the CX-5 is what tow trucks call for when they get stuck.

As for debadging, I have done quite a few vehicles, and I also use fishing line. One tip I can give is take your time and try to pull the emblem off evenly on all sides. If you get one edge of an emblem loose and get impatient and pry that one edge up, you might gouge the paint with the other edge, especially if that other edge has a sharp point on it, such as an "A" has on the bottom.

FWIW I have had a few chances to put the AWD system to use, and it is utter pants, they should just leave the badge off! I even had my mate stand outside the car as I tried to get up a deep snow incline near Davos last week, and the back wheels would not even spin while the front lost grip.
