Hello all!
Well, my girlfriend and I went on a 860 mile road trip this last week. We started off in San Diego and went up to Cambria. What a great trip!
There are no complaints with the car. Everything worked as designed, with a few really bright points:
1. Going from stop-and-go traffic in LA to sustained 80+ mph cruising on 101, my Mazdaspeed returned over 30 mpg with the A/C on the whole time! Fantastic!
2. On the way home, we stopped in LA to visit my girlfriends grandma and returned with tons of large plants. I folded down the rear seats just to find out how much "stuff" this car can transport. Once again fantastic!
The only problem that I had was my own fault. I was having so much fun driving the car fast that I did not have enough time to slow down for the cop. I got nailed doing 87 in a 65 zone. But it was well worth it.
