did your wireless card work in Breezy? I have a Broadcom 4318 in my laptop that works most of the time...

my biggest gripe right now is that my .ogg containers keep losing their Theora video and just play my Vorbis audio... I haven't nailed to when it happens, but I'll get there.

yea it worked in breezy. In the new dapper, they use a new built in broadcom module that doesn't really work, and is hard to work around. I've tried many fixes that people claim to work for them to no avail. So they're doing away with it in the next version so that you can go back to using ndiswrapper or however method you used previously to get your wireless card to work. Thinking about installing ubuntu at work though. Don't think i'll have issues since i don't use wireless here
 
I use firefox and Opera. Both free both have great extensions you can add to them. great free products.
