hey thanks every one ... I do want to say that these wheels are the same ones i have had for over a year but i took them off when going to mazda for service ....... so the only new mods would be the VIS CF hood, Tenzo R seats, clear tails, Mitches MP5 Badges, and Magnacor Wires (not shown) , and springs will be here soon. ... and as far as the seat .. I could not have done it at all if it was not for KYMP5 .... he is 100% THE SHIZZZNIT... i owe him alot .. i mean i must have called him like 30 freekin times since i was having no luck at all i mean 2 nights back to back i was up untill 4:45 am trying to work on then then go to work the next day ...UGHHHHHH ... but all you need is a strong drill, hacksaw or sawsall, possibly a grinder, 16 bolts, nuts, and lock washers, (8 per seat), a piece of steel (got from home depot) it is about the with and thickness of a yard stick(meter stick) if you will, and after you measure the front two holes on the seats with the steel you cut the front piece to go from one side to the other. Mark your holes
note ; the holes for the bolts going in the seat it self will be on the outer side and the holes for the brackets will be on the inside of the 4 holes needed .. ..
on the steel, then go to the car where you have only the factory brackets remaining and place the steel on the front two braces for the factory bracket and center it then mark those holes ........ so now you have a slat of steel that is little ove the length of a ruler(16 inches think) and it has 4 holes marked for drilling .... so once those are drilled ... you put the two bolts with lock washers on the top going down for the brackets and basically you first bolt the steel peice to the seat in the front ... and when done you have the steel piece bolted and then two bolt studs sticking down. (so when you place the seat in the car they will go through the holes in the brackets) ... ........... NOW THE BITCHES,, back seats ... now this sucks ... this works in a similar fasion but your not using another solid peice from one side to another, ... your actually cutting the steel into 4 inch pieces ( 2 for each seat)
...................................STILL READING.............................................
ok so not lets say you have the passenger seat in the car and the two front bolts are barely snugged in there just enought to hold her in place ... now this is important to make sure the seats are not cockeyed in the car and they are straight.... once you know you got it where you want it .... take two of the 4 inch peices and drill a hole right near the end of the piece (ONLY ONE HOLE PER PIECE AT THIS TIME!!!!!!) ... take those with the botls that go into the seat holes and you will have to cram in the back seatof the car up side down to look under the rear of the seat to see where the holes are and start those bolts .... .. so again the fronts are done and the backs are just bolted in just loose enough to move the steel to adjust ... and what i did is adjust the steel so it was sitting on the brace for the rear bracket. (I am using brace as refferance to exactly where the seats will be bolted to on the factory bracket) .... so when you got that sitting on the two rear bracket braces ... you simply reach underneath the brace and use a black marker to mark your steel for the holes to be drilled (you will have room) and once you know youve got the holes where you wanted them .. (be sure to remove only one at a time and mark what side it goes on and which way) ... Drill your holes.
(you may need to grind down the corners since they hit the edge of the brackets)
so after all that .. you still got the fronts done and the rear pieces are cut, marked, drilled, and possibly grinded ... so now you take the bolt going to the bracket in the steel from top going down, and then crawl back under the seat from the back ( it really helps to have two people so they can lean the seat up so you can work better and get the bolts started) and when your ready you bolt the steel to the seat first again and just snug it and adust it as you tell your friend to lower the seat back down so the bolt will seat in the hole (at times I had to push the seat side to side or push alot on the brackets to get the rears to fit) and once in through the hole ... bolt that sucker up and before you go and really tighten everything ..make sure you are happy with where the seat is and that it is straight and of course that you like it) .................................NEXT WEEK ......THE DRIVERS SEAT BUT FOR NOW ......A WORD FROM OUR SPONCERS. ... also know that KYMP5 really can help you alot with this if you need him i am sure he would not mine you PMing him and or possibley bugging the s*** out of him like i had to ... THANKS A MILLION KYMP5!!!!!!
