finally. hit 130mph in MP3

welp i did it. i dont have proof- mostly because at 130mph i didnt want to let the wheel go to pickup my digi cam in the passenger seat. i was doing close to 6000rpms, and was on the way down a hill on the highway that could have gotten me a bit higher but a truck was in the right lane and a van was passing him.

ill try again tomorrow.

i tried on M-6, a new highway that is only open for 5 miles or so (NO TRAFFIC AT ALL!)

its out in the middle of no where.

I took my MSP up to 115 once, but shut down after that because there was traffic up ahead. I definitely wouldn't want to put anyone in danger. All I have to say, it was very stable at that speed, much more stable than my last car (1996 Chrysler Cirrus V6), which I got up to ~130 once (the speedo only goes to 120).

I have hit 130 twice. I get to 120 pretty easy, but those last 10 mph come alittle harder. i keep catching up to people.

See, 130mph at 6000rpm is much more reasonable than 130mph at 5000rpm (other thread thing).

So, you already had warped rotors before doing this? I hate that warped rotor shake!!

wish i could have made it to the meet.
i don't think i'd be able to snap a photo, especially one that's staight on. but i typically hit 100 while leaving the tole on the way home from school.

those signs the cops put up that tell you your speed w\ the speed limit are so nice, like a HUD, but i usually don't have time to get my speed up because someone is allways slowing down in front of them.:wtf:
