Finally got the go-ahead from my wife (MS6 mods begin)

So I finally got the green light to start on my wife's MS6. First round will be PG SRI, Cobb TIP and SLS TP. The SRI and TIP went in last Friday, I also changed the spark plugs. For the plugs I went with Denso one step colder (ITV22?). What a difference. The car pulls quite a bit harder at all RPM's and the sound is glorious. My won't admit that she likes the changes, but she comes home smiling after a drive and I notice that she seems to be driving with her window down (Its Nov in Chicago, so that's a cold proposition). Can't wait for the TP and some mild tuning (Cobb or Hypertech). I figured I would add a few pics and a vid for all to see.

This will not be an epic build thread. Just some mild mods that we will both enjoy. For right now I don't have any plans past the TP and tuning........ Well maybe some sort of shift plate or STS, and a mild drop, I guess sways would help too. You all know how that goes.

hehe i like how the sri/tip combo actually makes the stock BPV audible now. HAH! nice.

just fyi, 1 step colder is totally not necessary. people getting the wrong impression of this idea.
but wont necessarily be bad either. just pricier than the normal denso iridium itv20.
now if you had plans for bigger power build... yay they'd become necessary.

I know the one step colder plugs were not needed, but Ken had them in stock and the price difference was not enough for me to care. The car got a bath this afternoon, should have taken the pics after.

You guys crack me up. It is a DD for my wife and snow is just around the corner. Not doing a whole lot of car detailing when it 50 deg outside. Just gave the car a bath.

A friend is taking his MS6 back to stock to have it looked at (smoking turbo), so he is going to let me use his Cobb for a few days. Just got a msg that it is unmarried and off the car. Tempted to go over and get it right this second. Should I use the OTS stage 1 map or is there a better one somewhere that I can use?

Agreed. Love the color. I get asked if it is a custom job all the time. I like the WWP on my 8 too. Both cars are the right color for the way the look IMHO.
