So I used this forum and another one a couple months back to help me make my decision on purchasing my MS6.
I got a 2006 Silver MS6 with 28 on the clock for $16,500 cash in a private sale. I know the original owner and bought my last car off of him as well.
The mods it came with:
RPM lowering springs
Short Throw
Dimming Mirror
CP-E CAI
Magnaflow Catback
Thought I'd finally get around to posting on here as an official owner and say hi.
Hi.
Not a lot of plans right now, other that getting the Cobb tuner I think. I have 93 octane on tap and that seems to be an issue from what I've read. I've made 2 passes at the track, bogged the first one bad cause I didn't launch high enough and the grip just grabbed. 15.40. Got a decent launch on the second one and ran 14.60 @ 95 n change. There might be a little more there in technique, but probably no more than a tenth or two. I'd like to get into the high 13s, and I'd be happy there for my daily driver. I use it for work and am getting between 21-24 mpg depending on mix of city/highway.
Looking forward to some help and guidance to make sure I don't waste my time making the same mistakes you all may have made and now can tell us the error of our ways before we do it.
