Final Quality Insurance (FQI) ???

I got a call from a Mazda representative (I think from my original dealership) asking me to bring in the car for a Final Quality Inspection (FQI). Does anyone know what this is and what it's for? The representative said something about CX-7's and RX-8's having to undergo FQI after a few months of purchase because they are higher powered engines and Mazda wants to make sure the battery is not being drained. And also, I don't think it's a bogus inspection because they even said I could take it to another Mazda dealer.

follow up

This is just to follow up on 2 service bulletins and the FQI I had Mazda do.

FQI: no problem they said
Wrinkled driver/driver-side door panels: replaced without a problem that I can see.
Clunking noise: They just noticed after they ordered the part that it is for AWD's but they hear it in my FWD Touring too. So they're going to call technical support and get back to me.

Mileage: 4600miles and no problems. I do notice, however, that when I start my engine in the morning it sounds like the engine warmup doesn't sound as smooth as when I first bought my car with 15 miles on it. Normal? I dunno.
