I have a 2014 Mazda CX5 with the tech package and just had a few questions, the vehicle has the bi xzenon headlights that automatically turn in the direction youre blinker is on before going that way does this only work at night or during the day too? I have had the car for about a month and only drive it during the day so I have yet to see night time performance. Do I need to press something to turn them on or are they always on? Do the headlights move when you put youre signal on? Im assuming its easier to tell during night driving because during the day you cant see them move? Thank you

If i set my lights to auto on the knob, will all the lights automatically come on when its dark out? my last vehicle you had to turn them on by yourself.

Also, the blind spot monitoring system, that function cannot ever break right? Reason for asking is because they flash very frequently with daily driving and use and just didnt know if it is an electrical aspect of the car and not something that will need to be replaced over time like headlights/ tailight bulbs need to be.

Is the smart city brake system feature for a 2014 always enabled? I know its a feature I just didnt know if it always is on. Thanks again.

I have a 2013 UK spec car, but presume the items on your car are the same as on mine....

I have driven my car at night, in the dark, the adaptive front lighting seems to work as you drive around corners, so it must somehow be linked to the turning of the steering wheel.... I have not noticed the lights turning with the indicators activated.

With the headlights set to auto the lights will come on when it gets dark. I can alter the sensitivity of the light level required to activate them under the lighting settings in the setup menu in the control panel.

I can turn the smart city braking system on or off in the settings menu activated by the info button on the steering wheel.

The definition of forum insanity is posting the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.

You get better results if you make a single post and give it a day or two. I know the virtue of patience is rapidly atrophying in our modern, digital, instant-on culture... but I can gaurentee that more posts will not make the individuals who have the answers you seek check the forums and respond any faster.

Patience, my young Padawan. Patience!

They can be set on or off, your choice. They only work at night. I would suggest you find some twisty roads at night and go play!

Yes, the lights are automatic. Again, there are some fine adjustments that can be made.

The sensors are located in the side body panels. The lights are built in the side mirrors and appear to be LED or OLED. It doesn't appear that those can be replacement like standard bulbs.
