Few questions about a 1.8L BP swap (fuel rail ?)

Okay so here are the specs of what I am doing:

1992 Mazda MX-3 SOHC B6

swap to:

2nd Generation 1.8 BP Using B6 wiring harness.

My problem lies in the fuel rail/harness. Here is how the connector seems to line up:

FUEL RAIL:

1 3 5 7
2 4 6 8

1. INJ #4
2. Fuel INJ Relay (Ground)
3. INJ #3
4. (not sure.. assuming VICS ground. Will check shortly)
5. VICS
6. Oil Pressure
7. INJ #2
8. INJ #1

ENGINE HARNESS (To ECU)

1 3 5 7
2 4 6 8

1. INJ #2,4
2. Fuel INJ Relay (ground)
3. INJ #1,3
4. Ground Input (4 is spliced with 6)
5. Water Thermosensor
6. Ground Input (spliced with 4)
7. Solenoid Valve Pressure
8. VICS

so Pins 1, 2, and 3 line up correctly, and the rest I'm not sure about. A friend of mine who sold me the harness said it worked fine the way he had it on his BP, but he was using a first generation that had a different fuel rail.

So my questions are as following:

1. If anyone can list what each pin on a first generation BP was, I'd appreciate it

2. Where is the water thermosensor on a BP? I know on the B6 it's between INJ 1 and 2, but not sure on this engine...

3. Is there a reason that my fuel injectors 1 and 2 do not line up with the fuel INJ + wire? How does the second generation BP give power to INJ 1 and 2?

Just am confused by the fuel rail...

Thanks everyone!!
