Feeler: Interested in group rate for KTR dyno day?

I just had the oppertunity to get 3 pulls done at KTR performance's dyno dynamics dynomometer. I was able to sneak in with the Jag club of which my dad is a member. It only cost $75.00 when done at the group rate. I have known the KTR guys for quite awhile and utilized them when tuning my race car. It was a great experience getting my 8 on the dyno and has given me a good baseline to utilize as I begin the mod/tuning process.

If we could get 20 or so members together I can setup a group date for this summer. Also, speed6 owners, it is a 4wd chassis dyno, so you can get in on the fun as well.

Let me know if you guys are interested in doing something like this. I'd like to get some more cheap runs done after I do my bolt ons and prior to the start of actual tuning.

Hmm, about an hour from me, maybe less, off of route 2. I'd be up for the meet although I'm not sure I'd dyno (since I'm bone stock).

Sounds like there is some interest! Yes KTR is in Ayer Ma. My dad is involved with vintage racing and thats how I got to know them. They have an amazing vintage customer base and usually have some of the most significant cars in the world. Currently there is the only series 1 ferrari gto that is un-restored, an alloy body factory competition SWB, a aston martin db3s, a Porsche 908 bergspider (3). I could go on. Anyways the dyno dynamics dyno is awesome and there facility is amazing. They usually have some sick modern cars there too, a supra, sti etc. The guys there are really cool as well.

If I can get enough interest I'll schedule something. Lets get some official "I'm ins" and lets say a saturday in late june or early july.

Who's in??

I'll also post this on rx8club.

And yes, dynoing your stock ride is worth it to see if it is running correctly and to get a baseline in preperation for mods. For $75.00, everyone should do it!

Ehh, maybe but there are plenty of stock MS6 dyno charts out there for me.

So its close to you? We could do dyno day in the morning and cookout at your place in the afternoon!!!

Wow that would be real far for me, but that doesn't mean I might not be up for it. But I would not count me in as of now.

Looks like a heckuva place. Gonna have to give 'em a call.

Have some more details, it will cost $1000.00 for the day for as many cars and pulls as we can get through.

Sooo...

14 people = $75.00
20 people = $50.00
and so on.

so right now I have the following people definatley on board. These folks are my friends and some aren't mazda, but noones perfect I'll have the official date soon. It should be a saturday late june/early july.

These folks are commited regardless of date, once I have the final, official date I'll post it and we can get a real head count going. Also, if there is time you can do more pulls at the end of the day if needed or bring a second car etc.

1) Ed Forer (me) , RX8
2) Megan Billings (my girlfriend), Civic SI
3) Stuart Forer, Mazda Speed MX-5
4) Nick Cierello, Cobalt SS
