Congrats Sleeper.

I dunno... people here talk about stuff they know nothing about. it's annoying sometimes.

did you get the most recent reflash? It involves my car I think. I was toying with the idea of going and getting it done. supposedly it makes the car faster.

I got it, it makes the car run smoother, on cold startups it doesnt stumble anymore..

Have you tried running the 3 second DSC button on startup procedure?

I'm not sure how me being able to roast the tires in first gear could be an indicator that traction control is somehow still on and active.

the holding it for 10 secs or hold it while you start is just BS I think...I can't tell a difference between just pushing the damn thing lol. I've tried it out on a wet day and either way I could roast the tires fine

if the tires are spinning, traction control is not doing anything.

no, I think I did it by accident one time because there was an extra light on in the instrument cluster. I'm not sure I felt anything different.

Then that makes YOU sound like you don't know what you're talking about because you haven't really tried it. :-)

I'm not saying there's something to it or not. But it makes you look ignorant saying other people don't know what they're talking about when you yourself have never researched it.

P.S. Back on topic, nice times btw.

I don't think it's an ignorant assumption that if the wheels are spinning, traction control is off, and here is why: it's called traction control and if the wheels are spinning, traction is not being controlled.

back on topic, thanks! I was really happy with the times, and a little surprised that the girl had it in her.

I wasnt trash talking just saying A: Great time B: Your 60 could use improvement thus increasing your already good 1320'. Thats it.

and I'm asking you what your best 60' time is. a 2.2 is no joke with stock rubber if you ask me. I felt like maybe I could save another tenth... MAYBE. if you can run faster than a 2.2 60', I would like to hear how you are doing it and try it myself. if you can't, then you're talking trash. that's all there is to it.

Relax dude.

And what are we paying homage to? To your numbers?

You got me there, I havent run my ms3. I have read others posts but no first hand experiance yet. Although in the past I have tried a few techniques the best - other then getting better tires - was reducing my tire pressure up front to as low as 20psi and increasing my rears to roughly 40.

Did you play with the tire pressure at all?
