Ok, here is my situation:

Im sorry but I have to rant because this is complete BS!!!!

I will never put another dime into FED EX shipping ever again.

First, I schedule a special apointment to get a custom 3" turbo-back installed on my car today (sat 070304). One of the shops welders and a mechanic voulenteer their personal time to get me straight. These guys kick ass!

Ok, here is where Fed Ex comes in. The packages were supposed to get here as per the tracking# yesterday evening. We checked and it said "out for delivery" on the status. I said ok great!! So i told these guys at the Speed shop to be there bright and early.

Low and behold at around 8pm on Fri, the pakages still havent got here. So I call the Terminal, and they advise me the driver got lost. Lost?? There was a number to reach me or my wife to get directions, and those numbers were never used. So they tell me, it was going to get delivered on Sat before 10am.

I wake up early today, and I wake up my wife. I was going to be ready to head out there as soon as the stuff gets here and not waste time.
Then 10 am gets here, no packages. At this time Im getting PISSED!! So I call the information line to see what has happened. They tell me that it is out for delivery. I ask them when it will get here, and they said "it will be there by 2pm". At this time the shop is calling me to find out where I am. I tell them my situation, and they say "no problem".

5pm gets here, and still nothing. I call the information line again. This time they say " it will be there by 8pm". Now Im Fuming!!! I call the guys at the shop and apologise for wasting their time, and tell them the parts still havent got here. They are nice enogh to make me an appointment on MON. So I tell them they are awsome and hang up.

7pm. Nothing still. I call the 800# again. This time the idiot tells me my package wasnt in the system. I told her it should be there, I havent got anything. I insist on getting her supervisor.

So the supervisor seems to have some sence to get the terminal tel# that isnt listed for the public, and call the dumbasses. We talk to the terminal leader. He advised us thet the packages were collected for pickup by a contractor the have to deliver. At this time I said "WTF!!!" " You guys gave some dude my box with over $600 worth of parts???!!!".
Then the guys says, "he tried to deliver at 11:30 and no one was home". I went IRATE!!!!

We finally got a hold of the sorry-ass redneck that had the package. He said I was supposed to be his last stop and he was running out of gas. So, he was going to drop the pakage off and schedule it for delivery on 07.07. I went off on this prick, told him he lied about coming here, and I told him Id meet him to get my s***.

UPS does not use contractors. They are a union and the union will not let that happen. If you need things where they need to be in the time its slated for. Ship using UPS.

wow what blows ...same thing happened with me when i was waitin for my intake...they claimed to deliver it and then i go there to pick it up....and the lady is like whats ur name...i give my paper thats got the trackin # and all my info...then she gets the box...and asks me if i know whats in it....the box says ...INJEN COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM in big red letters..so i repete what i read and already knew..then she is like whats ur address....i was like the one on my licence which u have...and she is like well it doesnt match where its gonna be shipped...then i was like well its the one in the computer then....i got a nice b****y look for that one...and i had to say the other address to get my s***...took like 25 min...shoulda took like 2...i feel ur pain good luck with the install

the UPS guy lied about making a stop at my house, keyed in a delivery attempt into his pad and then hid my turbo kit in his brown truck. if i hadnt gone out to the terminal to raise hell it would have been gone. so i will no longer ship via UPS personally.

i've lost s*** through all three major services (usps, ups and fedex) but never more than i have with the post office. if its not flat with a single stamp its out of thier league

I hate UPS and I hate fedex. Both suck. Both pull the same ******* s***. I've never had a problem with USPS..DHL is supposed to be pretty good..But fedex flat out lies to you..I can't stand bulls*** like that..and Ghosty..I remember how pissed you were in jersey..I wouldn't want to you see you that pissed..ever.

yeah i ship all my stuff dhl now .....and its helps on of my best friends works for em so i get deals on shippn

I had the same s*** happened. My dad was supposed to get flowers for his birthday. Fuckers never delivered!!! They were supposed to be delivered on Friday. After calling both FedEx and the flower store that we ordered from, we got 2 packages on Monday. This s*** still blows. Both of my neighbors work for FedEx, but I am still using UPS. I had only 1 package missing from around 3k packages that I shipped out so far.

Well, the fools finaly got it to me about 10min ago. So now Im half calm, my 3" cat is missing.

interesting, i have never had a problem with fedex but every time i ship ups i get shafted

i like usps priority mail :D

I work at UPS baby!! lol Man o Man, I never realized how much iish goes down when it comes to delivering packages. Now I can see why people get there packages late...beat up and not on time, or even delievered to the wrong address. But all in all, once you see how there process goes you'll think different bout what does on when it comes to delivering these packages.

I dont think there should be any excuses... that is their job and if the customer gives all the right info.... it's not that hard to deliver a package. (uhm)

well sorry to say but a PLENTY of reasons how situations like theses can arise. Customers don't write there correct address(not saying all) And when you have similar streets with the same address but different locations it can easily get misloaded. On-top of that you have new loders loading the truck who are just learning the loading process, they can easily load something on the wrong truck. So here are ALOT of reasons who a package can easily be lost, late, misloaded etc.etc. I'm not trying to cover for the the company I work for. I just understand how things can easily be misunderstood. At one point I was a customer like ghost n plenty others mad at Fed Ex, UPS and USPS...until I learned what process they have to go through.

this POS keyboard...excuse the typing errors.

ups has screwed me more times then any of them, and I can't stand them. UPS/Fed Ex charge the most shipping from us to Canada I've ever seen. From us to Canada, I deal with USPS. Not a hitch yet, and jesus is it ever fast. No duties due at the door either.

I used to work for UPS at one of their air terminals. My first job was to be responsible for all the overnight early morning deliveries that came through the hub and had to be put on the plane that left first. This particulair job wasn't computerized and was on a tight deadline everynight to get the packages through on time. It took me a week just to get all the paperwork straight when I first started the job and I was only responsible for one package being put on the wrong plane the whole time I was there, but I bet that person was pretty pissed off since they obviously needed whatever it was in a damned hurry and there they were the next morning with nothing.

What happened sucks Mike. I hate cutting things close and then even worse not being able to cut it at all.

Zip codes... thats all I gotta say about that.

Proper training.... is usually someone watching over the trainee.
If deliveries is your specialty or profession you are expected to get the job done right the first time. Now when customers are retarded and don't know how to send something out with the right address... then that is another story.
