Who out there does not like a little spice to their food? I was just curious what some of your favorite Hot Sauces were. I, personally like moderate heat with good flavor, not something so hot I cannot taste the different ingredients.

My current Favorite: Huy Fong Sriracha
I use it on just about everything

and my all-around traditional hot-sauce favorite is:
Crystal Brand Louisiana Hot Sauce

Let me see some of your favorites.

ha Kroger brand. its bassicaly the same as crystal. but at $.50 each! i stack up at least 5 bottles at a time.

For flavor I like the green tobasco an awful lot. I like most really hot green sauces. I used to live in S.E. Asia so I'm more or less immune to spicy...

stuff like that is completely insane and useless for edible applications. There is really no tast in those extreme hot sauces anyway, it is heat and that is it. They do not even usually use real peppers, just a synthetic type of capcasan or pepper extract.

BTW, that is not even the most expensive one:
$250 a bottle

Blair's 3AM Reserve. The absolute hottest sauce you can get. Pure Habanero.

That's too much of a good thing for me.

Here's what I've been using lately...I love Guacamaya!

local sauce made by this guy named Andre ... called Andre's D'AM Hot Sauce. it's sweet at first taste and kicks. alot hotter and more flavourful than tobasco. uses some kind of pepper from south america and it has the seeds and pepper pulp in the oil.

Tapatio!!!

the blairs 3am is the hottest natural sauce you can get, the source and the $250 one are hotter but are synthetically made

the cooks at work had some sauce, i think it was "san fernando" or something, it wasnt very hot but the flavor was outta this world

it was a white plastic bottle with red graphics

I buy the Tapatio stuff in 32oz bottles. Good stuff. Just about right heat wise for general eating but not quite robust enough taste wise.

yes.. i opened the page an saw ruster sauce.. just as i was dumping it onto my hotwings.. how pimp is that.. ::two thumbs up:: for rooster sauce..

Damn I read the subject line and was thinking whats the name of that that rooster sauce I like? Huy Fong Sriracha!! Good stuff. My all time favorite is not a traditional hot sauce but neither is Huy Fong Sriracha so ......

TIGER SAUCE

Good on anything from pizza to burgers. My old roommate ate it on fritos.

My wife seems rather partial to "old Uncle Matty's Two Ball Root Juice" if you know what I mean!

seriously though, a local vendor here makes a sauce called "Dunks". Pretty good.
