Whats the fastest anyone has done in the 1/4 mile in their STOCK Ms3 with stock street tires? Time and mph please. Are high 13's possible?

I have searched but want a straight answer if possible. Most mags post 14-14.5 @ 97-100 but I think they shift too late.

It all depends on the experience of the driver... My first and only time at a drag strip yielded me a 14.7 or so...and that was making a bunch of 1st timer mistakes... I want to go back and try launching before the light turns green... lol

13.7@99.98. 300miles on the ticker. I think with 3k miles it would have went 13.5 easy.

Great run, but that wasnt on stock street tires correct?

Basicaly has anyone taken their car to the track with everything, stock tires and hit 13's?
I am still calling power shifting and lower air pressure stock.

You can sit with the light green for 2 hours and still run a 14.7. :)

I was on street tires. Dont matter if they are stock or not. They didnt magically make the car go faster. I only cut a 2.0 60ft. I just did it not to burn up my stock tires. The stock tires actually hook decently.

s*** i cant remember. I just felt it and went. I just kept adjusting and it kept getting better. My first pass down the track was 14.6@ 94mph. I then adjusted my shift points and launch rpm. Got a 13.9. Then lowered the launch even more and feathered the gas a bit and hit second hard and wot shifted the other gears at 5700rpms.

Im half temped when spring comes to go back to stock and run slicks and clock off the first 12.9 in the nation BONE STOCK. Maybe ill find someone that has one and run it. Thats what ill do. I firmly believe its possible. I went 13.1 in my srt bone stock on slicks and 13.0 in my evo. No one believed those times either.

i would definitely believe it. considering how much wheel spin we get from a dig, there's a LOT more we can get from this car if we can just retain as much traction as we can!

So your saying that you didnt want to ware your stock tires but could have run these same times on stock tires if you didnt care about the ware?

Traction control on or off? Tire pressure?

I ran 14.5@100

550 miles on the car and that was the first time I floored the car ever.

2.3 60'

Getting use to FWD again FTL. I realized you really can't semi release then dump it like I use to in the SRT-4. I use to cut 2.0's in the SRT-4 on the stock KDW's. Now that i have more seat time in the Mazda, it really like you to ride the clutch out to get good traction and no wheel hop.

I still have my S2 srt4 and its a different animal. The clutch grabs differently for one thing.

you ran that on stock psi? what tire pressure?
s*** man i cant remember. i just planned on trading the tires in like 2 days later for my new wheels and didnt want them torn up. I was gonna get like straight trade for them if they were brand new. Thats why I used my buddys. they were actually almost the same exact size. I think I might have lowered them a few psi. Either way car was bone stock on street tires. No matter what it was still good for only 300miles. Car got faster for sure.
