Falken Ziex 512

Been driving on them for 2 weeks. 215/40/17. WOW, what a difference from my previous tires, Kumho ASX. Smooth, quiet, like the ASX-though they stick waaaay better. I take this one ramp at 70mph, which would upset the car before due to the expansion joints. Now the car just sticks and could easily go 80+ without any problem. On the smaller tighter S turns the back end likes to come out a bit more easily-much like my Azenis.

I am quite impressed for the price. Definately reccomend over the ASX's, and the Falkens are M+S rated!

Oh, and the bead/rim saver actually sticks out farther than my rim for once!!!! (17x7.5" Rota Subzero)

around how many miles are this tires good for? I am looking for new tires right now.

dunno, i had bought a used rims with them and they had about 5000 on them, i drove for anohter 10000, so i would say 15k with very agressive driving.. i just put a new set and i have had them for about 2k, they look brand new..

Here ya go...

nice how long u guys think they goin to last? the treadwear is like 360 im guessin with rotation at every oil change, and balance it now n then, i think u might get mayb about 14k or more? but im probaly wrong.

those falkens are really good. i had them on my civic, with 2 different set of rims, and now on my P5. when i used to work at a tire store, i used to push those a lot.

How is the 512 in the snow/slush/ice? I love my Proxes 4's but their launch grip when it's slippery sucks, although once I ever get moving they are fine.

I didn't notice any issues, 100x better than the stock Dunlops. I put mine on in December. But I don't drive to work and only about half the time on weekends. Autoxing is where my miles come from.

I thought they did ok. But when road conditions are not that good, I normally go easy on the pedals. But yes, they are better than the stock Dumbflops.

The Ziex 512's are a great all season tire. I run them on all my cars, and I couldnt be happier.

I get mine from edgeracing.com... I need a new set for my MSP. it's still got stock tires on it.
