Have had decent luck with Michelin. The OE tires are generally garbage.
20-70K miles, I had the Michelin Defender LTX. They wore like iron, were great in the snow, and very smooth and quiet. Replaced due to dry rot. H-rated so less performance oriented but more comfortable on NY's horrible roads.
Currently on CrossClimate2. Great tire. Impressive in snow. V-rated so maybe a little better handling but just slightly firmer.
