Someone sent me these pics in an email

says bmw+210mph+tree=ouch

Now, I ain't believe'n the 210 mph part...no way.

But, is the pic real?

Yeah i'm not sure if it's real or not, but somebody recently posted this. If you look at it closely, you'll see it's actually a Ford Escort (Cosworth Style) rather than a BMW.

Its very possible. My brother had an 89? Mustang 5.0 and it rolled over a few times, wrapped around a tree like that, split in half and caught on fire. He was in critical condition for a few weeks and in a body brace for almost a year. I think the only thing that was left was a side mirror. He was VERY fortunete to survive...thank God cause I love my bro.

ITs very possible that is a REAL picture. He still has HIS pictures and they look somewhat like that too.

I think it's possible that it's real. It looks like there was some fire because the engine bay is burnt. I noticed the escort thing too. It was the first thing I noticed when I saw the rims. Those aren't BMW stocks. I am surprised the tree didn't fall or atleast lean some after that though.

No, but supposedly the driver lived. There is a picture of the front of the car, the seats are totally intact.

I think maybe 210 KPH not MPH. It is a 93-95 Cossie Escort.

I have seen some f-upped stuff since I've been in health care, we saw some wrecks that looked like that but they didn't survive.

Not real

I'm a structural Engineer.....and to do that kinda damaged to the car..and not remotely phase the tree is stastically in-probable..but yes could happen. I have a problem with merging of images around the people. They seem to be superimposed over one-another instead of actually together. Also if you look, no one actually seems to be looking at the car, but rather somewhere else...you'd think someone would be looking at the wreckage....also if the bodies where removed..the car would also be taped off by authoriteis for investigation purposes..you'd think...anyway..I'd say fake!!..Peace!

After looking at the other pics, it is not a Cosworth, only an RS. No Recaros, no center gauge cluster, no speaker pods, no AWD.
Could be fake, but you never know.
