well i will go back and tell the guy. although i spent around 15000 for LX and 1100 for the after market lip, side skirt, and the msp 2003.5 spoiler (installation included in price)
its taken 4 freaking months for them to get these accessories in and the gen manager said dont believe what ever a car salesmen says. right now i think its funny--since the parts are taking so long i get a free svc check up and oil change. so they are atleast taking good care of me.

fyi, for everyone that wants a good deal, try to talk the gen manager!

I mentioned this ages ago, about dealers dreesing up a blue lx and calling it an mp3 , I was mad and you guys told me to chill out that the dealers can do that,, hahahaha now it bites someone, go figure. My dealer has tried that twice since I have been up there getting service work I walk around the lot and ask for any mp3.s in stock and they are like ya we have two brand new ones

What losers ... Dealers suck! But,

First of all, If you are shopping for a car and you know that you want a MP3 or something sorta like that, then do your homework first. Know what you are buying and what you want ... The Mp3's sold so fast, you would not find a brand new one anywhere anymore. When I bought my car I knew more about the Mp3 then the sales guy ... no hidden lies. I knew what I wanted and what I was getting.

Second of all, if the dealer pulled one over on you, just for the simple fact that they were sketchy with you, I would give them hell. Trust me, the last thing that you want is your dealer to feel like they can walk all over you. That's the problem these days ... you have to be a prick and make a scene just to get your service done the right way. It's like pulling teeth just to get warranty work done at some dealers. JEEZ.

that happen to my brother looking for car...he was actually looking for a truck and they had a jetta as well...and it said bora and since my bro doesn't know the difference they wanted to sell him the jetta..he called me and i told him that it was all fake as hell..thats all :bs: when a deal tries to scam you...they think we dont know the difference...I went back to him and told him that it wasn't...

Indeed, i saw a MP3 "Package" sedan about 4 months after i bought mine. Just the wheels and body kit.

how much does the lx go for now these days...I mean its going to hard for someone to find a mp3 selling around dealers..It sucks that the dealer can actually do that..Its true though if your looking into a car that you want do homework..people get scamed all the time..If you want a mp3 its easier to find them on the boards and not the dealer. When I was looking for my mp3 at the time, barely when they came out no dealer knew what they were..its a shame that dealers sometimes don't even know what kind of models are coming out...Just because they see the new kits for proteges they think they can dress them and sell them as a limited production :mad:
