steering wheel
it was easy in some ways and hard in others .... since Grant Gt and all other steering wheel companies will not specifically make a wheel for our cars with airbags all I did is go to a junkyard and get a junk mazda steering wheel that which had the same size spline as my MP5 did (1995-current) i broght it to a machine shop and had them cut the hub out of it and i had my buddy weld it to the back of the steering wheel .. but the removal was quite easy .. there is a bolt/screw on either side behind the center lower post of the factory wheel that are covered by two rubber gromments and pop those off and unscrew the two bolts then the entire horn assembly will come out (becareful that is obviously where the air bag is) and there are some other bolts behind that portion once it is removed .. now some say it was totaly unsafe for me to unplug the airbar while the battery was still hooked up but that is for you to decide and the main bolt gets removed and blamo you can wiggle the wheel off and place on the new one then use the same center/main bolt to secure the new wheel in place and before you tighten everything down be sure to see if the wheel is alligned properly and so after alltaht is done then your good to go ...
