I was backing out of my garage this morning in a hurry to school and just threw it in reverse and hit the gas. not paying attention i backed up straight into the back of my dad's avalanche. I came to a complete stop to say the least. I got out only to see the bumper cracked in four places. the passanger side where it meets the wheel well is bowed out and the truck is dented to perfection. haha man all i can do is laugh i am so mad. I dont even want to know how much it would cost to get it fixed. i will have to get a new bumper and possibly a trunk. crap!!! i hope i can find the bumper since our car is so rare ill get some pics up. what a way to start my day.

can it be put under homeowner insurance.
so you dont have to report it.

Of course we want to hear about funny stories...especially involving police and such...all my stories are non-cop related so I will keep them to myself...
ok this was years ago when i was in h.s.
i'm 26 now
a few of my buddies and myself are at this party when one of my buddies (lloyd) decides to go to wasinton heights to get a bag of ya know. he goes with my other buddie jason.
the both of them toghter make one brain just so you know.
anyway they get over the g.w. bridge go to 163st and st nickolas (bad area) try to cop a bad but get hassled while they are on the street. jason is in the pass side decides to reach over and snach the bag out of the dudes hand but fails. 3 natives with bottles and bats start beating the s out of his car winshild is now broken a pillars are dented. they realy beat the living s*** out of the car in 5 seconds flat.at this point lloyd is like a dear in headlights. jason puts his foot on the gas and off they go.they get to the first light and hear comes the natives.
lloyds panics, he floors it and hit a metal street light 10 feet in front of him. not killing the car but pushing the front corner into the wheel. they get back on broadway going towards the g.w. the front tire is rubbing smoking like a rasta. they get on the bridge and see a car flying up behind them they think its the dudes from 163st. off they go the get on the palisades parkway (the way home ) the car pulls up next to him and tell him to pull over ITS THE COPS. they pull over and lloyd gets yanked out, thrown down. normal running from the cops beat down but not too bad. the hole time jason is sitting there woundering what the f is going to happen to him. anyway they tell jason to drive home after they had explained what they where doing down town.(truth) lloyd is going nuts about his car but is happy that the cops dint arrest him for running. they get back to homebase(there town).and look close at the car, realizing that lloyd is going to get his ass kick from his parents. he decides to stay out that whole night thinking of a plan. the next day lloyd calls me to give him a hand with the car and he tell me he has a story and a half from last nigh. so i go to find out what hes all frantic about and help clean up i tell him put it in the garage so we car vacume out the glass and it would hide the cars front end from his parent until he could get it fixed (no way in hell this car was comming back. he decide to back it in. why idont know, but while he is almost in the garage the garage door realeases shatters the back window. i mean if you stood there and tried to time it you would have a hard time. this kid had the worst run of bad luck then anyone i know.

your best bet is to repoet it to your car insurance company. my mom did the same thing in our driveway-except the other wau around-she was in a raised suburban with a trailer hitch on the back and backed right into our housekeepers car-completley smashed it. anyways-there is a law in texas that if you have an accident on your own property- your premiums cannot go up-all the insurance company can do is pay the bill-otherwise, they can't even begin to talk about your policy. there are some really good laws in texas.

I have an extra bumper cover without the lower skirt that Ill sell you. Its the original one that was on my car so its already painted blue. Its only defect is 2 small license plate screw indentations.

Bad day, very bad day. / Oh, and I crashed my MP3. Just be glad you don't have $13,000 worth of damage done to your car. Think of it this way; at least you'll be more careful now when you drive. Hell, I know I was.......for four years at least.
