F*cking header!!@!!

I bought a new midpipe so that should cure my problem... Mine was just an air leak at the gasket. The header is fine. Now my sway bar squeeks though... :( never ends

The last 2 bolts which go on right hand side of header dont go into block properly.
i screw it in around 1/2 way and it gets really hard to go any further

Is there any dangers in this????any problems which i might expect?
no hint of leak thou.

all of mine went in fine, you might want to try some rust eater to clean any debris out of the threads (that is if you're sure they're the correct bolts :D)

haaaha no rust on threads, the holes on header dont line up to holes in block.
farking AWR!shouldve jsut whacked on the obx instead!!

sorry, I misread your problem

you should probably slot out the two holes with a dremel or other such implement so that you can thread on all the bolts

yea, the OBX went on pretty easily

although I popped the hood today and found some blue marks on one of the runners that weren't there before :( :(

in hindsight i shouldve done that!damn.
ive screwed it up. if i take off header now and try to put bolts on, it wont go in perfect anymore.

Well I know this is an old thread but...I had fitment issues with my AWR at 1st...flange that mates up to the block was not straight and caused an exhaust leak. The EGR tube was also in the wrong place.

I never had the problem of the runners being too long and hitting the fans. I did have to remove the fans for better ease of install 4 bolts and 2 elec plugs.

The block flange needed to be milled...and the EGR moved to a different position.

I took measurements and drew a diagram of what was wrong and how to fix it. I called them and they said to send the header back. They fixed it to perfection and sent it right back.

Im going to put this in caps just because its important. CALL AWR AND THEY WILL FIX IT. They are a good co. and they fixed mine for free!!!! They should do the same for everyone.
