Extra limited edition MSP :)

Yeah, I see what you are saying. But I can truely say that I DO NOT WATCH REALITY TV SHOWS. I completely refuse to because I do not want to be the contributing factor to these shows staying on the air. That is a perfect analogy about the tour of the worst part of town. These shows are the worst part of America. It shows the ignorance and materialism of America. By the way, has anyone seen this new show, hot or not. I was flipping through the channels, and I saw this hot girl in a bikini. I was like DAMN, she's hot. Then I left it there for a minute. I saw that they were judging them on looks, I was horrified after that. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with judging people, me and my buddies do it all the time when we are at the gym. But to make a tv show about it! How low can America go? I can't wait for this reality crap to go away like the boy bands did.

I am guessing Mr. Z helped design the Datsun/Nissan Z cars? :)
Don't let that airbag go off!! ;)

WOW, some guy who had something to do with the development of the MSP, but you don't know what exactly he did or who exactly he is. AWESOME! haha.

Yeah, and who IS mr Z?

He did the R&D with the car, do I have to spell that out? Research and development. I didn't want to say the ONLY guy who did the R&D because I didn't ask him how many coworkers he had or how many people were involved in the MS program. And as far as what he exactly did, it was a whole lot. But I gained some knowledge and info from him. I really don't feel like sharing the info because it seems like it doesn't matter to you. If at least one of those names doesn't ring a bell to you then oh well. The point now is that those people mean something to me because of their involvement. You can have any joe blow sign your car, your trunk, your dash, whatever! But, if it doesn't mean anything don't bother.

As far as Tod K., go ask any hardcore old school Z owner who he is. Go ask any hardcore 510 owner who he is, what he's done, what he has. Join the bluebirds list of dime owners if you really want to know. You'll get an answer but even there they have really sarcastic people and the "inner circle" just like this forum does.

I've got a little off topic but this rambling is not to start an internet rage or flame war. If I offended you with my words or someone signing my trunk lid, my bust. This forum is to share wisdom, stories, ideas, and to actually have a close nit of Mazda owners who care about the same thing. Cars. That's why I'm here. Later.

Kelvin - the R&D guy for the MSP
Tod K. - I'm not stalking this guy or anything but he was hired onto Mazda 2 years ago from another well know company and that's why there is a turbo on the MSP. Cause of him.

We've been hearing about the MPS 6, or at least I have from the dealer and read about it in ZOOM ZOOM mag. So the awd turbo is up on the charts.

:confused: :confused: :confused: OK, OK, as the official oldest guy on this forum and the proud owner of an MSP and a 300zxtt, let me contribute my understanding of where this all went haywire!

/* soapbox mode on */
Soundbombing had his car signed by some guys on the MSP development team.:cool: I think that's cool, as these guys have put themselves out to give us the coolest sport compact car on the face of the planet. No other factory has stepped up to the plate and given us so much bang for the buck! They can sign my car ANYTIME!

REMiller stepped in and posted a picture of Mr. K, Yutaka Katayama, a legend in Datsun/Nissan circles who was responsible for getting the original 240Z car brought to America, signing someone's dash (obviously, a Nissan dash, no MSP carbon fiber detail!) Mr. K was just so cool, he gets posted to the USA in like 1965, which was like getting posted to Siberia in Japanese corporate hierarchy. But he digs in and starts asking why this, why that and really starts to understand California and why people liked their Datsuns. And he tells the factory, and eventually convinces them there is a market for the Fairlady (Z) in the USA. So, he's THE MAN as far as all the Nissan Z car fanatics are concerned. He got the Z car here over the objections of all the stuffed shirts inside corporate headquarters.:cool: :cool: :cool:

/* soapbox mode off */

So, soundbombing, tell me where and how you came across the MSP development team in the US?
