extended warranty anyone?

Well, with 4 months left on my warranty, I'm starting to HOPE that whatever might eventually go wrong with my car, goes wrong now, lol, or never at all..

Basically i have 2 questions.

Has anyone bought extended warranty for your car?

How much was it?

Is it possible to buy it this late into the ownership? (I've had the car almost 4 years now)

as long as you still have the original bumper to bumper warranty, you can purchase mazda's extended warranty which will cover everything bumper to bumper with a $100 deductable... things like the sway bar bushings, turbo wastegate, turbo, exhaust system, engine, A/C, etc are covered for example

IMO, an extended warranty is useless just for them to void it and Mazda Inc wont do s*** about it..

I use a very good dealer here Cali, so they have no problem honoring any problems i have warranty related ( some even not, but they covered it .

But thanks for the input, you answered all my quetsions but one. Roughly what does it cost?

They get paid my Mazda for it anyway...they are just lazy if they don't want to do it.

yea, they just dont get paid as much for warranty work as they do for regular shop prices..

i just started talking to my dealership out here in jersey. And they said bumper to bumper extended warranty for 2 years/ 75,000 miles will cost 1,495.99!! and to me that is rediculious!.. or they can do 3 years/ 75,000.. i have 48k on my MSP and i am hoping the same, if anything goes wrong go now, im trying to get everything fixed taht has a problem, but mazda is trying to get the best, and hold out so my warranty is over and im screwed. idk what to do 1,500 is pretty expensive..

They offered me 2 years for 750$ out here in CALI..still too much, even though a much better deal.

wow.. well a brand new car off the lot they give yu 7 years/ 100,000 miles for 650$, and i cant see why they cant do that for our cars.. if yu dont mind tellin me what mazda dealership is this? cause i may call them up and buy it off the phone, cause warranty is good at any mazda dealership.. 750 is not to bad.. think of it, if something breaks, then its covered..
