Exhaust tip/cold air intake hp ???

I'm thinking of just getting an exhaust tip for my car intead of the whole system.How much hp would it add??How about with the Ingen cold air intake together??

You can use a coffee can for a exhaust tip, and I heard that it will give you about 10 HP!!!. (I'm just playing. 5HP!!!)

I hope he was talking about just the muffler section and not just one of those tips. Anyway, if you install a CAI and a high flow noise can muffler, you might get 1 to 2hp at the wheels. It's not worth it.

I'd also like to say this. If you people want power from this car, don't waste your money on these trivial parts. Save your money that you would likely spend on a new muffler, new rims, CAI, etc., and put it towards a turbo. You can get a turbo for this car for less than $3000. That really isn't that much money. Even if you are in highschool, just save up 80% to 90% of you summer job paycheck and you will easily be there by the end of the summer. That's just my opinion, take it or leave it.

come on Ben....not everyone is a gearhead like us....and ya gotta start learning somewhere.....just be appreciative that he picked HERE to come to learn.

God knows I wish I had the internet and a forum to learn from when I was a kid and was just getting started into cars.

Hell....I remember when I was little and went down to my dads office...and the calcualtors had 100 buttons on the front just for the numerals...and a handle on the side to make it work!!! lol and a computer as powerful as our desktops now filled a whole frickin room!!!
