Im having trouble figuring out which exhuast/header combo i want to purchase...I wanna hear anybodies who has sound clips....Or any opinions on what to GET ?????

OBX or Thunder header...Racing Beat Cat-back....If you want an nice, low understated sound....This cat-back will not be loud and will not drone on the highway....If you're looking for loud head turning exhaust, this is not the one.

EDIT Check the N/A section for exhaust sounds.

The FS sounds like total rice-ass with an aftermarket exhaust. Get a good intake, header, and midpipe and keep the stock cat-back.

So are you talking from experience??? Which exhausts?? Cause the RB does not sound like Rice-Ass.....Megan and others are definite ass, but not the RB cat-back....

by the post ive read etc, sounds like people really like the racing beat catback system...

I dont really need something really loud, but i want something noticable from stock to aftermarket, something that sounds fast when i drive by...haha...

I think im going to go with OBX headers, Racing Beat catback, and for intake im debating between K&N typhoon or injen... (first)

Every single probe/protege/escort with an FS engine and aftermarket exhaust I've ever heard in person has sounded terrible. EVERY ONE. Personally I think they sound WAY better with just an intake/header/midpipe and the stock quiet muffler.

Intakes are really all about the name on it....I shelled out the $250 for the K&N Typhoon, cause I wanted the ability to go SRI and CAI...and remeber you get what you pay for...

im throwin a 5" muffler on my car, its got like a 3.5" tip. dont care about performance really, hopin for a deep sound and somethin to fill up the huge exhaust opening in the back bumper.

gotta get some hangers tho im sure.

^^mines a straight tip, nothin fancy. just a muffler.

my friend told me it should have a deep sound to it, if not ill get around to puttin a resonator on.

Fixin to post up 2 used but not abused Magnaflow Mufflers, 1 race series 2.25 inlet 4" straight tip, 14 x 6 round body & 1 street series same size only with an angled tip. Just got a 5x8 oval with angled tip so I will be posting up official pics with part numbers & such in the FS section soon.......Stay tuned (yes, I know that was a sad pun).....& as always no PMs til the pics are posted.
