Exhaust Oppinions/Help

Hey everyone, i got a 2004 Mazda 3 Sport and overall i like the quietness of the stock exahust i just would like it to be a little bit deeper/aggressive. Any good way of going about this? Im thinking of just replacing a cat with a High flow cat, or maybe just swap out a muffler with an aftermarket one. So overall the car will still be pretty quiet but more of a bass tone to it. Any suggestions? If you read this and have no clue what im talking about just ask lol.

(btw a straight pipe on stock exhaust sounds horrible, so i dont wanna do that lol)

Losing the cat will give you a metal-sounding sound, if you want a deep sound leave the cat but get a smaller rear silencer with 63/76mm muffler. The smaller silencer the larger noise so don't go too small.

Personally i think the corksport is the best sounding exhaust for the 3.

Its the cheapest (aftermarket) exhaust you can get to.

it does delete the 2nd cat or you can get the high flow cat from them.

I dont know much about high flow cats.

I know a cat delete (which the corksport comes with) will give you a deeper sound.

the corksport sounds perfect the way it is (without the 200 dollar highflow cat.)

the videos that corksport recorded themselves sound really nice! its got a real clean and bassy tone to it! the other ones sound kidna poppy and rough. whats the difference?

poppy??? your crazy. im sure corksport uses a much higher quality cam then the other people that are just recording it

well the first 2 videos the cam is way to close to the exhaust and its just going to pic up a bunch of air.
corksport is actually smart and are backed up a little bit and so the side

That is very true. We work every exhaust and ask ourselves if we would buy this exhaust. We take them on many drives at different speeds and gears to make sure they are not to loud and don't resonate in the car as much as possible. It would be easy for us to just cut some pipe and put a muffler on it and call it a exhaust. But that's not the type of product we want to sell.
