Just trying to get an idea of people who would be interested in a new exhaust for his/hers msp. The company is called PIT- Performance Import Trends. They are actually a developing company out of Des Moines, IA (hometown). Not to sure about price right now, he would just really like to have some advance purchases before they produce. Lets see if there is interest b/c if none appears than its a no go.

More details are needed.

Piping size?
Material?
Mandrel or crush bends?
Catless/Catted?
Cat-back, downpipe-back, or turbo-back?
Muffler?
Estimated cost?

Personally I think you will get the most interest with:

full turboback, 2.5" mandrel-bent stainless steel. (1) high-flow cat.
A somewhat mild-volume muffler, or the option to choose your own muffler.

Shoot for a cost below $750 if possible.

I agree.. though I will probably go custom becuase I have a good friend in the exhaust business... but, if i could finda good turbo back under $700, I would prob get that...

I'd be game for a 2.5" catback system in stainless steel. I can even pick up since I'm not too far away

ditto.

We are really kind of shooting for a 3' full exhaust system from the s-pipe down. We are not really sure about the catless downpipe or with cat. I preferably would like catless because of the performance. Around here in the midwest, we dont have to worry about emmisions bullcrapt and what not. You can run straight pipes from the turbo back if wanted. I will see about pricing but im sure its going to be up in the air. I will talk to him and give him the input so far. thanks guys for the opinions and keep them coming.

mostly likely an n1 STYLE muffler too,

The majority of states have emissions tests, and several states have hefty fines (several thousand $'s) if you get caught driving on a public road without a cat. A high-flow cat should at the very least be an option.

Just looking to help your guy out, having that option will definitely help sell more exhausts.

3" turbo back SS. Is it gonna include a new s-pipe? If it's good quality, good sounding, and under $800 I'd consider it. Pics/soundclips etc. Do you have any pics of their other work?
