I have a ported s-pipe, 3" exhaust all the way back with no cat. I still picked up 2.5mph in the 1/4mile, thats some damn good gains if you ask me.

That really is a huge gain. Where is your cutout in the exhaust line (how far from the J)?

right there.

Cool, so I take it you just unbolt a plate when you go the track? How loud is that thing?

um seems to be how most of them are... the point of thi sthread though... hehe was to find out if prod's are on the mkt that can be activated or activate when nesc. im currntly devoling a on /off type electric accutor that releases the "gate" and re closes when you turn it "off " so to speak

wont this give innaccurate readings to the second 02 sensor?

Sorry for the tj.

Its really not that loud when compared to some of the cars running in my class. (I am the only 4cyl.) I can't run it open in the bracket class I am in, however if/when I lose I go to Test and Tune and open it up. I have only opened it once.

The pcm only monitiors the secondary o2 sensor voltage under certain conditions and times. It possibly could throw a code if you drove everyday with this open, but not likely to do so at the track.

if you live in a very bumpy/rough city or plan on droping you car dont get an e-cutout cause a manual one will scratch on the ground and the electronic on is generally bigger
