Excessive Rear Brake Dust?

After driving my Mazda 3 for about 1 week i noticed a lot of brake dust on my rear rims, well of course i ignored it, couple days past...the brake dust started to build. Now the rear rims were covered with brake dust while the front rims were clean. i figure since my 1000mile oil change was comming up i'd get it check out also. Well, the Mazda Dealer checked it out.. and told me there were no problems with the brakes... about a week past since that and brake dust is starting to form again.

i was wondering if anyone else has this problem and maybe knows whats causing it

It's a known problem, but no fix has been announced.

Sounds like you got the Brake Dust Package too.....funny thing is same thing for us but it's the front 2 rims and the back are clean.


***was told getting rid of the oem pads for non or semi metallic was a big improvement in the brake dust issue.
