wait so just get the HKS high-flow catback and then get custom piping? What about a resonator?

I figured I'd take the hit of looking like an idiot to see what's the truth about exhausts. Because I also don't want to spend 500 bucks for little gains (though the sound is more important for me).

No offense, but the whole melting the bumper bit doesn't really turn me on .

Plus I don't want to be able to double-fist the exhaust pipe.

no dont buy any name brand cat back system...order you a nice muffler from ebay or somewhere and pay like midas or a local shop to weld you piping from the cat back. mine cost me 90 bucks for a 2.5" turbo back exhaust with hangars. its not all shiny SS, but its not all rusty either, and who the **** looks at your exhaust under the car?>

i wouldnt. my car has no cats, no resonator, and it gives me a ******* headache sometimes. and its hard to hold a converstaion with my gf when im driving 70+mph

That's why I was asking about a resonator. I'm only doing n/a with a header so I'd go w/2.25" diameter exhaust piping. But no resonator means lotsa loud and ricey sounds, too, right?

yea but u have a nice lil turbo lol. so of course its going to be a lil louder. but yea u find it runsok, im just wondering honestly this will be the first new car ive ever ownd i mean i had my an 88 sentra, 90 supra, 90 240 and an 89 240 so dont know much about how the ecu will respond or what not to no cat.
