soooo, someone didn't read my post,
"see, the thing is, the evo's in north america dont' have the super active yaw control like the ones in the UK, that's the only reason that makes the EVO so fast a track car. so, i'd get the STI and take the 300hp, with active diffs'n intercooler spray buttons, and the better interior. (the evo has the spray button too but with the gear box you can't really tell where u are sometimes if yur rushed....
ps. about the SRT-4, good luck driving that 2.4L 215hp in the winter with that FWD,
as oppose to 2.5L 300hp with active center diff that lets you shift power from 50/50 AWD to 40/60 AWD."
SRT-4's a good car, i'm jus sayin' i'd get and STI cuz it's a bettah car
oh yeah,
6 speed manual > 5 Speed manual
300hp 300lb/ft > 215hp 245lb/ft
Boxer Engine > Inline-4
Brembo non-fade 4-piston brakes > no name 2 piston
Variable AWD > FWD
Oversized intercooler /w manual/auto spray > nothing
Masculine bodystyling > silly wanna look fast
plus the back of the SRT-4 looks like wayyyyyyyyy to high,
sorry, i'm sticking to the neon
i mean.... SRT-4
NOT,
STI's are so much bettah
Lets compare the price difference
STi- 31k SRT-4 19,995.
You may be right, but its in a totally different class of car.
And all this RS evo talk, about being lighter and faster, did anyone mention why?
You get NO creature comforts. No radio, no A/C, no sound dampening, and the list goes on and on.
If you wanna buy a brand new car without all that, then go for it, but im not going to.
Oh yea, BTW, this thread officially sucks.
The SRT-4 is a damn nice car, good build quality, dodge is backing mods, and its fast, and the 2004 will handle pretty damn well.
I dont ever wanna hear anyone tell me its just a neon, because then you know nothing about the car, and are making yourself look stupid.
I used to say the SAME thing about it, and then i did some research, and talked to some people and learned.
Until you do that, STFU about it being just a neon.
Oh yea, the MSP is just that.. its JUST a protege...
