Evo conversion kit for MP3

i'm not bent out of shape at all. it's just alarming that on a car enthusiast forum someone would think that it was a serious post. i mean, how many people have said that they modded their car and showed pics of their new car. i did it when i traded the p5 in.

now if he started talking about his stage 1,2 and 3 weight reduction and stage 1-3 turbo/supercharger upgrade, maybe people would get the joke.

All im gonna say is the fact that you even posted something as assanine as this amazes me. You didn't convert the MP3 to an Evo, seeing as how thats next to impossible. You haven't produced one shred of credible evidence, you just keep pulling s*** outta thin air to try and sound legit. Yeah you used FIG welding and a Ginsu knife....thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. And, on top of the fact that you claim you spent 30K on the conversion just shows me even more that your a flaming dumbass.

Produce pictures where you have the MP3 engine or some other transition, where its CLEARLY visible that you did this drastic amount of work, or just shut the hell up. This is ridiculous.

Argh,,,, some of those things you said kinda hurt (cryhard)

I thought this thread was clever at the start of my day....then reading it all at the end just made my night....well played good sir, well played.

lol, but wait, I never said I didn't actually do the conversion. Maybe I was joking about joking about the conversion...

(wait for it)

...Actually, wait...No- I didn't do the conversion. I went to the stealership and got bent over for a new evo just like everyone else. I then sold my MP3 Turbo for less then I owed on it. Now, those two things combined may be even more assenine then doing the full conversion. lol Argh God please send a flaming meteor down upon my house as I sleep tonight (but spare the evo).

lol. I just can't beleive that people went as far as trying to figure out my logic, and do the math behind it lol... Even after my tint remark.

Come on guys, has anyone ever really heard of FIG welding??? (hah)

Obviously, FIG stands for "fake inert gas."

Here's about how my thought process went:

1. Fake.
2. Well, he seems pretty serious, I dunno.
3. Photoshop of DOOM. Fake.

Monday was a looong day, at the end of a looong weekend. :)

lmao- that rocks... ahahha I actually did it in paint real fast- why I used paint? I have no idea. I thought it'd be funnier.

so wait....you didn't actually do the conversion????

j/k

:)

LOL. Best Thread in a long time. The chopped pic was hilarious.

I know that nobody beleives me, and that the general feeling is that this conversion never took place, and to be honest- I'm not sure I dissagree with you. I'm trying to figure out for myself, but I'll go ahead and show you the following pictures and I'll let you decide.

Here's the first part we switched over- the trunk and tail lights. We saved the spoiler for later and the top of the trunk. We then FIG welded it right on. Don't mind any pieces you see sticking out from the old trunk- the camera was dirty.

Secondly we put on the front bumper/hood, but we only did 2/3rds of it because that made the most sense to us. We then faded it in really nice with water colors. I'll tell you- splitting the headlights was rough. Considering the evo has HID's and the MP3 has standard bulbs. Oh ya, also- we did this in a parking lot.

Thought I was done? Not even close- I dug this picture up from one of the magazines it was in. Before we even did the trunk we did the motor swap.
