I think most of you have read my post a cuple days ago that i have to get rid of my mp3. well ive been looking around for some cars and it seems to me like im missing some of the good ones. The 86 RX7 i was going to buy was sold yesterday and im sad about that b/c it was really nice. But ive been looking at 1st and 2nd gen RX7's 280z's 300z's, ive been trying to find a RWD Corolla but i cant find one. Can some of you help me out i wanna get some more ideas for cars. I dont have tons of money so it needs to be affordable for me, but i would appreciate some help.
thanks in advance

Chris

Nissan Maxima, they are strong, fast, reliable, and they are cheap to insure. Plus stillin offers alot of kits for them

probably the most i can spend at this time is 6 grand. hp isnt a huge issue for me i just want to add some performance parts to it and make it faster. i was looking for a sports car from the early 90s or 80's. but i am also interested in making a 92 civic hb into a j spec. but it may cost too much.

After speaking to Rishie, I'm started to understand why the Second Gen RX-7 is dope, so that car would be a sure winner. Or have you considered a 91 Mazda Miata? You shoubd be able to pick one up for a good price. Miata motors respond well to boost. Would be nice to have a sub 2200 lbs vehicle with 230+ whp. AVO Turbo World and Flyin Miata sell some pretty awesome kits. One my buddies in Michigan has a turbo'd Miata. A little white one with a Veilside body kit, flat black wheels, and a Flyin Miata turbo kit. He lives in Troy and is usually cruisin up and down Woodward when the weather permits. I have pics of it if you want to see it.

the main problem with a miata is im 6'4" almost 6'5" i cant sit in a miata let alone drive one. i also am thinking about a first gen talon or eclipse. their fast out of the box and there is a huge market for first gen engines.

Get a 1st or 2nd gen CRX HX. They all weigh in at less than 2K lbs. The 1st gen CRX HX's weigh from 1700 to like 1800 lbs. They are cheap too, and it's a Honda, so plenty of aftermarket. Get one of those and drop in a B16A, add a few mods, and you got yourself a very fast, fun car.

Damn, you're tall. Probably better off with an Eclipse of Talon then. That'll enable you to please the boost monster too. Well, if you were to buy a turbo'd one it would. I dunno man, good luck

guess it depends on where you want to go with the car (how much you want to spend on the car, mods, repairs etc.) and which company you prefer. 2nd gen RX7 is a great deal in my opinion..especially the Turbo II's..i have a plan in mind that should have me running 12's about 6G, that includes cost of car. a 300zx is gonna be hard to find a good one for 6G in my opinion, and from expierence i can tell you they are very expensive to maintain. 200sx and 240's are good if you want to do a SR20DET swap, but you have to find someone familiar with it, if you arent yourself..the cost of the car may have you sitting with the stock engine till you can afford the SR. CRX HF or a civic can be made into a great project with a B16 or B18 swap..could be running low 14's or 13's depending on car/trim level for 6G. the 86 can be difficult to find as they were only made for a few years (85-87 i think)...and i have seen Supra turbo engines dropped into them. I dont know where you live but i found a nice panda hachi-roku in NJ area for $1500. again you just have to think what you want to use the car for, daily driver, autoX, drift car, drag car, combination, whatever.
