I've seen threads like this before about people bashing the 03.5 wing. I've considered selling it before for some extra $$, but I like the way it complements the car & forgive me for not wanting to look like an ES.
I only said it because one guy said putting an ES wing on would gayify it.Black Majik MSP said:I've seen threads like this before about people bashing the 03.5 wing. I don't think any of the OEM wings are gay & any comment saying so is uncalled for.MarkSpark said:I only said it because one guy said putting an ES wing on would gayify it.

itbeme said:I hated the 03.5 wing. I'm not sure what the ES model is but I got the wing off a regular protege and it bolted right on. It sits in a good position, so it does not block your sight. The body is essentially a protege w/ a body kit so they is no problem.
Yeah I am all about blocking those damn hillbilly trucks that ride my ass in my rural residential area. Their headlights hit me right in the eyes via the rear view mirror. But my lovely temple like 03 wing blocks a good portion of it when I sit just right.Crock said:03.5 wing. My first impression was a negative one. I thought it was too big and ricey. After only 2 days it grew on me and I liked it. Later on when I found out it blocks head lights I ended up loving it. Blocking headlights is GREAT, especially these days when everyone and his mother has super brights.
does it actually have an effect? i don't know, but with four tiny bolts holding it down, i figured if it actually did make any downforce effect it would probably rip off...spike blue said:the 03.5 wing is the best think in the msp. inmo. It gives you more downforce and good cornering. think before you get rid of it.
Cause I'm sure your driving habits are always safe & practical.mx3ownzj00 said:if you were going 130+ mph the rear may stay planted but its neither safe nor practical.
its just dead weight and i'll be ripping it off asap.
03Speed took his off for a while & said that there was a bunch of really sticky tape or glue crap underneath. It's definately NOT easy to get off.hayula said:good luck getting it off. i don't know how but that s*** is glued on tight. i gave up

I'm not trying to be an angel here, I'm just saying the minimal to no downforce the wing gives you at highspeeds should be the last thing you're focusing on, especially on the street.
