ES/LX Grill

Does anyone know of an aftermarket grill made that fits the ES/LX similar to the one available for the MSP/P5? The Auto EXE style.

Or do any of the ones on EBay fit?

I did a search but couldn't find anything.

X2Also I hear that the sedan (LX, DX, & ES) you need to actually remove the bumper to get te grill off, any truth to that?

nope...and no grills that i am aware of. i was going to try and fab up a 1off fiberglass grill last summer, but as you can see, nothing ever came of it...yet ;)

btw, grill just pops off with a good tug after you get the screws on top.

I tried once but it was held on by 2 clips at the bottom of it, it felt like 2 screws are holding it down. Im nervous to pull any harder on it not wanting to rip apart the bumper.

Are you sure If I just pull it up I can take it out (I want to Try the grill-less look)

it'll come out with a little convincing. it felt like i was going to break something my first time too. =)

Alright so I poped mine out, Can say I like the look of the 3 plastic clips that stick up & the Horn.

I geuss I might do something to the grill, Paint it or something, I dunno yet, Im going to ride arround and contemplate

As far as i know, no one makes a grill for our cars :( Its too bad, because i really want one.

be careful!

i bought one of ebay like 2 years ago and it sucks. my es now has rust on the hood & ugly gaps. the fitment is very bad!!!

i see what you mean about the fitment, but how does a different grill effect rust on the hood?

since the grill did not fit correctly, it cracked the top of my bumper & rubs on my hood right next to the driver side headlamp. It is only noticable when it rains, and the rust streaks down my hood.

i bought a carbon fiber grill a couple months back and it fit fine, it just didn't contour with the left and right side of the bumper, but you can't tell unless you sit on the ground. check out my cardomain page to see.

It looks ok, but some of that coule be due to your Wings West kit. Because that kit is designed more like the bumper of a MP3 or MSP. I wonder how that grill would fit on your stock bumper.

The wing west kit is top half sedan and bottom half P5 with little wing flares

since the top half is identical to the Sedan thats how it would look Minus the bottom part of the bumper with the fogs and all
