Entering Mazda 3 into Redline Time Attack series

My buddy is entering his 3 into the this race called Redline time attack. It sounds pretty sick. Its not head to head racing but instead like time trials. They say there's gonna be a sick timing system with sectors. Has anyone ever heard of this race series or entered in it before? http://redlinetimeattack.com

Hey m20w20...Just talked to my friend who did it last year about it. He said there's also a battle of the bands which is pretty sick. If you know of any cool bands, let them know. Yeah I live in LA...been looking for an event to go to for a while. Glad there's finally one decently close by
