Enkei ekm3 with BF g-force KDW 2...what size tire?

I'm about to buy the gunmetal enkei ekm3 18x7.5 with BF g-force KDW2 size 225/40/18. My question is what is the benifit/drawback of going with 18x7.5 opposed to 18x8 for wheels. Also the same with tire size 225/45/18 opposed to 225/40/18. The wheels are offset at +45 and i will have cobb springs here shortly... im really not worried about rubbing issues with 225's. Any input and information would be awesome to help me make a desicion.

If you're not worried about rubbing, going wider 225/45 with be good. It will give you a nicer comfy ride and fill the wheel gap more. If you went 225/40, more wheel gap and might be a rougher ride. Also, tires are cheaper in the lower profile size.
